  • Is your Mobile Food Unit blocking at fire department access road?*
  • Is your Mobile Food Unit 5' away from lot lines, buildings or structures, other food carts, combustible materials, vehicles? (Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.4)*
  • Are you using a Generator? If "yes", the following applies per Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.6; No refueling while operating, Not operated in an enclosed area, Vehicle-mounted generators are installed, used and maintained according to listing and manufacturer's instructions.*
  • All Exits must meet the following Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.7; Means of egress are clear and unobstructed, two exits are provided, and customer service window is appropriately sized for egress.*
  • All electrical appliances and devices meet the following Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.8; used and maintained in accordance with NFPA 70, listed and labeled, modified or damaged electrical has been repaired or replaced, approved covers for all switches, electrical outlet boxes, and proper use of temporary wiring.*
  • Cooking Oil Storage meets the following Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.12.3; metallic and nonmetallic cooking oil storage system components shall include, but are not limited to, piping, connections, fittings, valves, tubing, hose, pumps, vents, and other related components used for the transfer of cooking oil.*
  • LP Gas Systems meet Oregon Fire Code section 319.2.13; components inspected annually, maximum aggregate volume of 200 pounds, containers securely mounted and restrained, container manufacture in compliance with NFPA 58, container installation complies with NFPA 58, system piping protected to prevent tampering, impact damage, and damage from vibration, listed LP gas alarm installed.*
  • Compressed Natural Gas Systems meet Oregon Fire Code Section 319.2.15; containers supply only cooking fuel, meets maximum aggregate volume, container is properly protected, container constructed properly, containers supply transportation and cooking fuel, piping properly protected, methane alarms present.*
  • Solid Fuel Cooking meets Oregon Fire Code Section 319.16; Dedicated hood system provided, 2.5 gallon water extinguisher and Class K extinguisher, fuel properly located, outdoor storage, fuel properly separated, ash properly removed, carbon monoxide alarms as required.*
