Tuition: $100 deposit (refundable upon completion CFD and USFS Personnel), $200 for other outside agency

Course Description: S-131, Firefighter Type 1 is designed to meet the training needs of the Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1) and/or Incident Commander Type 5 (ICT5). Topics include operational leadership, communications, LCES, and tactical decision-making.

Pre-requisites: Student must be certified as a Firefighter Type 2

Clackamas Fire District has a memorandum of understanding with the Pacific Northwest Wildfire Coordinating Group (PNWCG) to deliver NWCG wildland fire courses. All of our courses and instructors meet or exceed NWCG standards PMS 310-1 and PMS 901-1.

Clackamas Fire District is eligible through the Oregon Office of Emergency Management to deliver FEMA NIMS ICS and Position Specific classes.
