    Agricultural Burn Permit

  • In order to qualify for an Agricultural Burn Permit, you must have an active agricultural operation on your property. The primary living must be earned from the farm or tax returns filed as a Farmer or Grower. You will only be able to burn debris that is a direct result of your agricultural operation with your Agricultural Burn Permit.

    Must have proof of one of the following: County/City Land Use Approval, Established LLC., Nursery, Christmas Tree Farm, Selling of Livestock or Caring of Farm Animals

    No Agricultural Burn Permits are to be Issued for Land Clearing Related to Single-Family Dwellings or Hobby Farms.

  • I understand and confirm that the material to be burned does not include any of the following:

    • Material generated by construction or demolition debris by a contractor or sub contractor.
    • Material generated by land clearing for commercial or residential development.
    • Material generated by industrial waste.
    • Material transported from another location for the purpose of being burned.
    • Any other prohibited material as listed in the CFD#1 Open Burning Rules or Oregon law.

  • Your agricultural burn permit is for 3 years. You will need to renew 3 years after the issue date. If you would like another copy of your agricultural burn permit, you may call our Fire Marshal's Office at: 503-742-2660

     

    As part of this permit, CFD#1 may use your email to send out notifications, updates, or educational material. Information provided above is confidential and will not be shared by anyone outside of CFD#1 staff.
